Health Care Detectives

These are the four steps we take in getting our patients back to health:

1. Identify The Problem!
Without understanding why your symptoms are there, treatment is often piecemeal, or trial and error. Unless a diagnosis is clear, we will order some tests.  Some of these can be done through your doctor, such as testing your iron levels or seeing if you have coeliac disease. Your symptoms may be caused by nutritional deficiency, heavy metal toxicity, or mineral imbalance.

Common tests that we order are Oligoscan, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), Complete Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA) iodine levels, and food sensitivities.

1. We take a careful look into your medical history to pinpoint the origin of your health problem, even for seemingly minor health events, so that we can identify possible causes.

2. Treat The Underlying Cause.

Once we understand what we need to treat, the next step is to start a treatment plan where the highest priority is to address the cause of your complaint. There may be more than one treatment option; we will discuss with you the most efficient, cost effective and non-invasive treatment. How do we treat you? We have a range of options to offer you.

Depending on your disease, you may receive one or more of the following

3. Guide
Once your symptoms are reducing in severity, we guide you in how to maintain your improvement. Here, your participation becomes a real part of your treatment.

Achieving good health involves:
  • Quality nutrition through dietary habits
  • Avoiding aggravating factors in diet and lifestyle
  • Developing a healthy lifestyle
  • Addressing mental and emotional issues

4. Take Charge of Your Own Health

The World Health Organisation’s definition: ‘Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’

You are ‘cured’ when you have no need for medicines or consultations and enjoy physical, mental and emotional health. Your treatment path is aimed at reaching this point, so that you can enjoy and live your life fully.
